Hello to all my students and fellow teachers

Hello All,
My name is Randall Cunningham. I just signed up for EduFire today. I am excited and look forward to engaging my students and the EduFire community in the weeks/months/years to come. I tutor/teach English, Political Science, US History, World History, American Government, AP American Government, and Reading. I am brushing up on my Math skills and look forward to teaching that one day as well.

Here is a Little bit more about me:
I am constantly finding new ways to teach subject material to my students. Traditional ways of teaching are fine and I do employ them, but sometimes a student needs to step outside the box to learn what is in it… and that is where I feel like I can step in and help. One of my base philosophies is teaching my students material that they cannot just get off of Google or Wikipedia.

I am currently a student at San Francisco State University; Majoring in Political Science with a minor is Special Education. Recently I have been Honorably Discharged from the United States Coast Guard, after serving 7.5 years. The most Rewarding thing in my Military career was helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina and Ike, I long to have this kind of impact on my new career as an educator.
